The Information We Gather |
| |
| |
ClickIQ gathers personally identifiable information (including potentially name, email address, postal address, etc.) and personal preference information when individual consumers or business people register to join one of our panels. As part of registration, as well as after registration, we ask panelists to provide us with more personal information so we may invite them to appropriate surveys. Depending on the panel you join, we ask that you fill out a registration questionnaire that gathers some personal information as well as some general consumer or business information depending on the specific panel you are participating in. We ask for your email address so we can send you email invitations to participate in our upcoming research events. The other personal information we gather, such as your name, address, gender, date of birth, and employment status, is for matching you with the appropriate marketing research projects as appropriate to the panel you join. Your date of birth, if relevant to the specific panel you are on, is used to automatically update your age for us to target age-related marketing groups. We ask you for this information as a means to see if you might qualify for particular projects. All email contact from ClickIQ will be sent to your primary email address that you gave to us upon registration. If you become a panel member, your personally identifiable information (name, address, city, state, and ZIP) is also used for the purposes of incentive fulfillment. From time to time, third parties may be used to facilitate panel management activities such as email campaigns or incentive fulfillment. In such cases, the minimum amount of information is transferred to these thirds parties to allow them to perform specific tasks for us.
If you take a survey or provide us with personal information without being a member of one of our panels, the only personally identifiable information we will preserve is your email address. We do this so we may contact you if you have won a prize or are entitled to an incentive. Unless you elect to become a member of one of ClickIQ's panels, we will not contact you for any reason other than to notify you that you have won a prize or are eligible for an incentive. If you are entitled to a prize or an incentive, we will collect and maintain such personally identifiable information, as we are required to maintain or report by virtue of any law or regulation.

Except as specified above, ClickIQ does not sell or transfer the personally identifiable information collected about the members of its panels or the individuals that take surveys sponsored by us. ClickIQ will never share or intentionally transfer personally identifiable information to a third party without prior authorization from the participating panelist or as required by law. If you are a member of one of our panels, your information is stored in our secure database so you may be invited to participate in events that are relevant to your interests and profiles. If it is determined that your profile makes you a potential candidate for a research event, ClickIQ will email you an invitation to make you aware of this opportunity.

How to Access and Correct Your Personal Information |
| |
| |
When a panelist's contact information, or other personal information provided as part of the panelist's profile participation changes, they have the ability to access this data and modify it. Panelist participants can log into their account by visiting the login page of the specific panel in which they are a member. Once at their individual account page, the panelist may select any of the profiles and associated questions to modify their answers. At this account page, panelists also have the option of deactivating their account and no longer participating in future panel activities and events. Consumers or business people that participate in ClickIQ hosted research events but do not join a panel cannot modify any personal information.
